Is the SBDC a government agency?

No. The Norcal SBDC is a federally and state-funded nonprofit network made up of 18 regional centers. Each center is funded, in part, by the SBA and a local entity (in our case, Humboldt State University). Additional funding comes from the California Governor’s Go-Biz program.
