About Me:

Ranger Kielak brings a rare combination of agricultural roots, entrepreneurial coaching, and community economic development to his work as a business advisor. He currently serves as the Visit Half Moon Bay Coordinator for the Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce and operates Within Range Coaching, a consulting practice spanning business strategy, leadership development, and safety compliance.

A UC Davis graduate in Agricultural Economics, Ranger began his career as a pesticide inspector with the Stanislaus County Agricultural Commissioner’s office before pivoting into small business advising and entrepreneurship education. He is a Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Coach and has advised entrepreneurs across industries through the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, Valley Sierra SBDC, and Monarch SBDC.

His areas of expertise include business launch strategy, marketing systems, podcasting, and workshop facilitation — with a particular focus on helping entrepreneurs in agriculture, hospitality, and the trades translate their hands-on knowledge into sustainable businesses. He prides himself on taking complex entrepreneurial topics and making them applicable and accessible regardless of industry or experience.
