About Me:

Luz grew up in the Bay Area and is passionate about supporting the communities in San Mateo County.

Before working with the SM SBDC, Luz supported unhoused families at LifeMoves as a Children’s Services Coordinator and a Bilingual Case Manager. Luz describes herself as optimistic, supportive, and reliable. She hopes to put her skills and knowledge to work and make a positive impact by supporting and connecting small business owners to the resources they need to thrive.

Luz is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, East Bay.
