About Me:

Anita Darden Gardyne is a Silicon Valley veteran experienced in tech entrepreneurship, financial management, company-building, AI, and fundraising in large and startup firms. She currently serves as the CEO of A Gardyne LLC and delivers technical assistance and access to capital and contracts to founders and their ecosystem partners.

Following her graduation from UC Berkeley with degrees in Economics and “Economics in the Black Community” and an MBA from Haas, Gardyne has served as as a Finance leader overseeing strategic and annual planning for multibillion-dollar businesses and business units at AT&T, Levi Strauss & Co, Seagate, IDG, and UC Berkeley. Anita also developed AI technology with Bell Labs and later with Microsoft becoming a certified Microsoft partner, as Founder and CEO Oneva Inc. from 2013-2024. Oneva Inc connected employees at Microsoft and other firms to trusted in-home care providers offering elder care, mental health care, and other services through the patented “Trust & Safety Through In-Home Care” AI-driven platform. Under her leadership, Oneva banked six and one half million dollars in non-conventional funding, won awards including Best Startup Silicon Valley and TechCrunch Battlefield Silver, and signed agreements to make its care available to over four and one half million employees.

Anita is married to her husband of 40 years, Bob Gardyne. They have two adult children, are grandparents, and are native to the SF Bay Area.
